Beauty from Ashes
christina is the name. i have a love for words, a good book, and the findings of new music. the beach is my peaceful getaway. doing nothing with people i love is grand. acoustic guitars soothe my soul. i appreciate creative photography. my mind is filled with countless thoughts. challenged with new things each day. i am a broken young woman redeemed by her Heavenly Father.

“You make beautiful things…”
I studied Genesis 1-2 for 3 hours last night in my Pentateuch class, and I had a whole new perspective of how this world was created.
I’ve never looked at the story of Creation like I did last night. My God just spoke the world into being. No chaos, no evolution. He created order in this universe. He separated the heavens and earth. He made the stars in the sky. The land and sea. His breath gave life. It seems so simple, but to think that He turned absolutely nothing, into this beautiful world. How could I not worship and praise my Creator? Without Him, none of this would exist.
