blessings today.

The days continue to get better. 

• i did my devotional this morning and it pertained to God’s love for me
• i sat at the booth in my kitchen and ate a yummy bagel with butter 
• i continued to read through the book Desiring God by John Piper 
• baked cookies
• had good conversation with someone dear to me
• saw one of my tumblr posts be shared by my college
• applied for a scholarship 
• talked with my dad about possibly getting a car 
• went on a walk with my parents and younger brother 
• got a funny picture texted to me 
• talked to my older brother about my love for the show New Girl
• fell in love with the words, fervor and facetious
• enjoyed KFC for dinner
• watched Fairly Legal
• painted my nails 

Life is good. We have bad moments, but that should never overlook the good ones.

i sit cozily in my bed thinking of my spring break this past week. it was quite relaxing i must say. i thoroughly enjoyed: 

snowfall. long hugs. cups of hot cocoa. picture taking. sandwiches. the last harry potter film. spending quality time with my daddy. homecooked meals. sleeping in. personal time with the Lord. time with my extended family. driving. swimming. sunshine. tv shows. youth group. worship. weddings. the rain. brothers. you. church family.

all in all, a very good week. i must say it went by too fast, but i will be back to all these amazing things in 2 weeks. it is nice to be back at LPC and I have wonderful friends coming to visit me in the next few days. i’m excited and the Lord is good no matter how crappy i feel at the moment. this sickness shall past.

January 26th, 2012 has been a grand day.

Today was quite the wonderful day, and it’s not over… but I had to write about it now cause it’s been so fantastic. 

First off, it was 80 degrees majority of the day. IT”S WINTER TIME, but it felt like summer. I wore one of my new tank tops from Forever 21, and got tan. It was wonderful. I sat on a bench after my first class and conversed with many of my good friends. I went to counseling. I enjoyed pizza and wings for lunch. I laid out on a blanket and played with the cutest puppy in the world named, Fred. I went to my science lab and got it done in 40 min. I got out of class an hour&half early. Win. I enjoyed a MintMocha Frappe for free from The Loop. I sat outside and got to know one of the most amazing senior girls on my campus. I’ve never been that blessed in a conversation up until today. I was so privileged to spend such a long time talking with her. It was fantastic. I ate Cap’nCrunch during dinner. I caught up with my best friend, and we can still crack up about everything to this day. 

I am now, gonna get a head start on some homework, watch some t.v. shows, and enjoy a peaceful night. 

Today, I was blessed. Everyday, I am blessed. My God is so good.

How I love days like these. I wake up with the sun rising and a beautiful Friday has started. 

FreeDressFridays. Cute outfits&rings(: Driving past the ocean on my way to school. Receiving compliments from the sweetest people. Including my teacher. He taught me how to receive compliments better, cause I obviously suck. haha Good study time in Econ. Sitting outside with my friends blowing bubbles, enjoying sunshine, and lots of laughs. Taking pictures with my bestfriends and making silly videos during study hall. 

And now… I’m about to enjoy a yummy sandwich. Get a slurpee later. And hopefully spend my Friday night with my best friend. Life is good. (:
