“You make beautiful things…”
I studied Genesis 1-2 for 3 hours last night in my Pentateuch class, and I had a whole new perspective of how this world was created.
I’ve never looked at the story of Creation like I did last night. My God just spoke the world into being. No chaos, no evolution. He created order in this universe. He separated the heavens and earth. He made the stars in the sky. The land and sea. His breath gave life. It seems so simple, but to think that He turned absolutely nothing, into this beautiful world. How could I not worship and praise my Creator? Without Him, none of this would exist.
@victoriagoodell paints me a lovely encouraging scripture. 💜💙🎨 #art #scripture (Taken with instagram)
Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted, but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.
Isaiah 40:30-31
Trust His timing. Renew your strength.
For Christmas my older brother framed this scripture verse, along with the tag line, and gave it to me. He gave each person in our family a verse that he prayed would be an encouragement to us in the year 2012. And this one is definitely an encouragement to me.
In the year 2012 and even in the years after, I will trust the Lord’s timing and renew my strength.
I can do everything through Him who gives me strength.
Yes. It’s a famous scripture.
But really, take the time to soak in the truth.
His strength. Not ours.
