Oh, Valentines Day.
I continue to celebrate this holiday without a valentine. And quite frankly I’m completely fine with it.
Today was wonderful. I received a rose and plate of cookies from my sponsor. I had a worship chapel that reminded me who my first love is. He’s amazing, and I am so thankful for my Savior. I got to see many cute couples walking around and giving each other gifts. I enjoyed going out to lunch with my girls. Text messages from brothers. Went to the movies with the randomest group of people. Ate frozen yogurt with nutella on it. Got a valentine card and lollipop from a good friend. A simple text that made me smile. A facebook comment from my “boyfriend” back home. And ending the night with lovely conversation with an amazing quadmate.
I am blessed. I am loved. I can’t ask for anything less.
