Beauty from Ashes

christina is the name. i have a love for words, a good book, and the findings of new music. the beach is my peaceful getaway. doing nothing with people i love is grand. acoustic guitars soothe my soul. i appreciate creative photography. my mind is filled with countless thoughts. challenged with new things each day. i am a broken young woman redeemed by her Heavenly Father.

Prayer for February 6th.

Lord, I only want my heart to be filled with thoughts and desires that are from You. As I spend more time in Your presence and focus solely on You, I know that my heart will change for the better, affecting the rest of my life in godly ways. 

Amen. 

Scripture: “Keep you heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life.” Proverbs 4:23 

My heart is His not mine. His presence is all I need.
